Dat Sen Hong Marathon - Dong Thap 2022

The tournament is directed by the Provincial Party Committee - People's Committee of Dong Thap province with the cooperation organization of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province, Nexus Communications Corporation and Ben Thanh General Culture Joint Stock Company.

The tournament attracted more than 3,000 domestic and international operators.

The mission of the competition is to enlighten people about the locals and tourist destinations in the land Lotus – Dong Thap.

Dong Thap is a region with many beneficial natural features, and it is home to people who have an unwavering love for lotuses. They are also determined to make lotuses a distinctive feature of this region. It is the reason why the tournament’s symbol is a lotus.

The goal of the Marathon Dat Sen Hong – Dong Thap is to inform both domestic and foreign friends about the people, environment, and culture of Dong Thap.

In Vietnam today, the running movement is developing rapidly with running tournaments taking place all over the country. Running has become a source of inspiration for many people to exercise enthusiasm, especially in the post-COVID period.

The mission of the Dat Sen Hong – Dong Thap Marathon 2022 is to create a good playground for athletes who love running. Become a gathering of clubs and teams to exchange, share, experience and compete.

Besides, with the cooperation with Operation Smile Vietnam, the tournament pioneers the spirit of “Sport for the community”.

On November 26-27, more than 3,000 runners were present at the Dat Sen Hong – Dong Thap 2022 Marathon to compete together. Running clubs and teams also enthusiastically landed to exchange and participate in the competition.

The tournament finished successfully with the cheers of thousands of sports-loving hearts across the country.
